Juventus are working in training to end Cristiano Ronaldo's goal drought

Life at Juventus hasn’t gone according to plan so far for Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portuguese superstar arrived in the summer with plans of dominating the Italian league.
But he’s yet to find the back of the net through three league matches. And for Ronaldo, that’s too many games to go without scoring.
Ronaldo never went more than four games without scoring during his Real Madrid career and he’ll be desperate to put an end to his drought against Sassuolo on Sunday.
The 33-year-old has been wayward in his shooting; per Marca, just 39 per cent of his shots have been on target.
But Ronaldo skipped international duty to avoid fatigue and Massimiliano Allegri has taken steps to get his No.7 firing, too.
The Juventus boss and his players are pulling together to help Ronaldo.

Allegri's plan

Marca’s report adds that Allegri has been working hard in training with his full-backs, getting them in advanced positions where they can deliver crosses into the box.
Ronaldo has proven his ability in the air and he’ll be hard to stop if the delivery from Alex Sandro and Joao Cancelo into the box is accurate.
Juventus have also switched from a 4-2-3-1 formation in matches to 4-3-3, a system Ronaldo is comfortable with.
The report makes it clear just how much Ronaldo’s drought is felt at the club.

It’s easy to understand why Allegri feels it’s important to get Ronaldo scoring, though.
If he can discover the form that he’s shown at Real Madrid in recent years, then Juventus stand a genuine chance of winning the Champions League.
It’s worth pointing out that Ronaldo scored his first league goal for Los Blancos last season in his fourth match.

And he finished the campaign with 44 goals..
He spent the international break improving his fitness and increasing his knowledge of Allegri’s methods, according to ESPN.
It’s only a matter of time before he gets off the mark.
And when he gets his first goal, he won’t stop.
