- An Anglican Bishop has warned against President Muhammadu Buhari's re-election bid.

 

- Bishop Stephen Oni said old Nigeria politicians should leave the stage for the younger ones - He said some Nigerian politicians had overstayed their  time in office which is one of the problems the country is facing The Bishop of Anglican Diocese of Ondo, Stephen Oni, on Sunday, September 16, said Nigeria needs a young and visionary person to become the next president. The Bishop also urged President Muhammadu Buhari to drop his re-election ambition for 2019 presidential election. According to Oni, some politicians in Nigeria had overstayed their time in office and refused to leave the political offices for the younger generation. He said such overstay by these politicians is one of the problems the country was facing.
